Our specialists (100 TONN MONTAZH) implemented a complicated project of SACMI press body replacement (Italy) at Samarsky Stroyfarfor in July 2016. Confined condition of the operating plant did not make the implementation of the project easier. Dismantling of the old press body and installation of a new body were performed with the use of a 125-ton hydraulic gantry system. The mass of the press is 56 tons.
Within the period from July 11 to July 15, 2016 on request from RUSKOMTRANS Commercial Transport Plant, our Company (100 TONN MONTAZH) shifted a 170-ton ERMAKSAN bending press (manufactured by ERMAKSAN, Turkey), unloaded it and assembled it element-by-element. All the press parts were transported to the installation site with the help of a 40-ton-capacity rigging trolley. Due to the use of a 125-ton-capacity GP125 hydraulic gantry system the bending press assembly was completed ahead of the schedule approved by the equipment manufacturer.
Within the period from May 25 to June 4, 2016 on request from Machine-Building Enterprise PressMash, our Company (100 TONN MONTAZH) continued the works pertaning to ДА2243 hydraulic press assembly, i.e. unloading, shifting and element-by-element assembly of a 100-ton ДА2243 hydraulic press (manufactured by PressMash, Russia). A 125-ton-capacity GP125 gantry system and a 40-ton workshop trailer were used for the works within the KULZ premises (Kamensk Uralsky Foundry, OAO) in Kamensk Uralsky, Sverdlovskaya Oblast.
In June 2016 our Company (100 TONN MONTAZH) unloaded, de-preserved, performed SKD assembly and installed four gas-generator plants Wartsila onto vibration mounts in Kazakhstan. Due to the use of a GP500 gantry system, the primary contractor managed to start installation of the equipment directly on completion of installation of load-bearing metalware of the building with simultaneous installation of the sandwich-panels. This technology considerably decreased the timelines of the works implementation. Our designers implemented an interesting technical solution, that enabled them to further accelerate the works. Prior to use the trawl for unloading, a section of the gantry tracks had been dismantled, and after the load was lifted and the trawl left the premises, this section was installed back to its place and the gantry system started to move along it with the load. The works were rather difficult for execution due to simultaneous implementation of construction and installation works at the site, as well as due to necessity to keep up with precise positioning of the gas-generator plants onto vibration mounts (1 mm tolerance). Thorough engineering of the operations, experience in handling Wartsile equipment and well-coordinated teamwork enabled our Company to perform all the operations in accordance with an approved work schedule.
On June 15, 2016 mechanical press SIMPAC (Korea, model MC2-500) being part of a precision blanking system was successfully unloaded from vehicles, shifted to the installation site and assembled at the Czech Brano Group Vehicle Components Plant in Kstovo, Nizhegorodskaya Oblast. Gantry system GP-125 was used for the press installation. Due to limited ceiling height, the tension rods were installed simultaneously with the installation of the press head on a foundation (such an installation scheme was applied for the first time ever). The tension rods were tightened and the monoblock underwent precision check. The Customer expressed his gratitude to our installation workers for their team work and professionalism.
In April 2016 our Company (100-TONN MONTAZH) dismantled a 15-25 turning-and-boring machine at the production site of EVRAZ NTMK (EVRAZ Nizhny Tagil Metallurgical Plant, OAO) in Nizhny Tagil (Sverdlovskaya Oblast).
Lifting capacity of the overhead cranes turned to be insufficient for the required operations, therefore a GP 60 gantry system with special tools was applied for the works. The works were accomplished in four stages: dismantling, transportation, installation and setting to work under supervision of EVRAZ NTMK specialists.
It should be noted that prior to setting the machine to work, the CUSTOMER’s land-surveyor had developed an as-built drawing for installation of the machine parts, which led to ideal installation of the machine.
To embrace new challenges, our Company within the period from November 9 to December 12, 2015 assembled a paper bags production line. These paper bags are designed for construction materials. Within the premises of the plant under construction Segezhskaya Upakovka in Salsk, Rostovskaya Oblast, together with German installation supervisors from Repack company, our specialists unloaded Windmoller&Holscher equipment (Germany), shifted it to the workshop and installed it there. All the activities followed the schedule and met the requirements set forth by the manufacturer.
In November 2015 our Company (100 TONNE MONTAGE) unloaded, shifted and set to final position two machining centres GROB (Germany) at BOSCH Plant in Samara. The Customer asked to speed up the process to avoid downtime of expensive transport vehicles. Each 24-tonn machining centre required delicate handling. The works were accomplished in due time.
At one of the factories manufacturing composite items (Moscow) our specialists unloaded heavy parts and set them to final position, as well as shifted attachable and peripheral equipment of a new automated line KraussMaffei for production of reinforced polyurethane parts for mounting. The project was successfully implemented. The works were accomplished within prescribed time limits and accepted by the Client.
In the period from January 29 to April 7, 2015 our Company (100 TONNE MONTAGE) took part in assembly of power equipment within the framework of reconstruction of Voronezh Central Heating and Power Plant-1 and construction of a 223 MW CCGT unit in Voronezh. We dealt with such equipment as four 45.295 MW gas-turbine plants LM6000 PD Sprint (General Electric) and four waste-heat boilers ПК-95 (Podolsk Machine Building Plant, OAO).
Our specialists performed full range of operations pertaining to loading at storage sites, shifting within the premises, unloading from a low loader and high precision setting to final position on a foundation of heavy parts of gas-turbine plants (including turbine with baseframe, generator baseframe and generator itself; total mass of each gas-turbine plant is 182,915 kg) and boilers (total mass of each boiler is 173,136 kg). Total mass of loaded, transported and assembled equipment is 1,424 tonnes. Parts of gas-turbine plants were set on foundation with the help of a 1100 tonne gantry system, whereas the elements of waste-heat boilers were lifted to 18 m with the help of a set of 200-tonne strand jacks.
